Moonrise over the Ashkenazi Synagogue
The Ashkenazi Synagogue, dating from 1900, is near the Galata Tower in the Karaköy neighborhood of the Beyoğlu district. It is the last remaining synagogue built by Ashkenazim in Istanbul, and is still active.
